We headed out to my brother’s place by 2pm on Diwali day. Spent about an hour with his family and then headed to Kompally. We reached there by 4pm and rest of the cousins started trickling in. Kids started the Diwali fireworks in the traditional way, by lighting the oil soaked threads tied to a special variety of Hibiscus stems. Once that ritual is done, they are busy for next few hours trying out the fireworks. There are not that many pictures shot, but some of them are here…
