An Interactive Tool for Samskrutam Pravesha Vocabulary

I recently started learning Samskrutam! As part of my current learning sessions, one of my primary objectives is building a strong baseline of basic and practical everyday words—specifically nouns, or व्यावहारिकशब्दाः.

When you are diving into a classical language, scaling up your vocabulary can be one of the toughest initial challenges. To make this process more manageable for myself and fellow learners, I built a small web companion practice tool designed specifically around the essential words needed to prepare for Samskrita Bharati’s Pravesha Exam.

💡 Building a Practical Vocabulary Foundation

The core focus of this project is helping language students streamline their study workflows. Rather than wading through unstructured word lists, the tool targets the exact vocabulary required for the Pravesha syllabus. It covers the essential building blocks necessary to gain conversational confidence and tackle introductory reading materials.

🛠️ Core Features of the Vocabulary Companion

  • Syllabus-Driven Organization: Practice all foundational words at once, or focus strictly on vocabulary belonging to specific chapters of the Pravesha course.
  • Multi-Language Learning Paths: Supports translations into both English and Telugu, helping you map practical concepts back to your familiar languages.
  • Targeted Noun Focus: Concentrates on practical everyday nouns (व्यावहारिकशब्दाः) to quickly establish real-world contextual recognition.

I will be updating the dataset as my learning progress continues through the exam material. If you are preparing for your Pravesha certification alongside me, feel free to use the tool and share your thoughts in the comments on which chapters or feature configurations we should focus on next!
