On 26th, we did a small family get together on the occassion of Spurthi’s half saree (pamita in Telugu language) function. That morning, all our family members and cousins stopped by at home for a muhurat at 8.33am. Spurthi is given a half-saree to wear and all the invitees blessed her after that.
